P. Paul Cocoros is the “Captain” of the office.  He actively participates in every case that his firm handles.  Mr. Cocoros is a former Assistant State's Attorney with extensive courtroom experience.  Mr. Cocoros is just as comfortable and experienced at handling civil matters as he is at handling criminal cases.  He has extensive experience in both Federal and State proceedings, involving Jury and Judge trials.  He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and his law degree from the University of Baltimore.  He and his wife, Jane, reside in Baltimore County and have 2 adult children, Maria and John.

 

Jeffrey L. Komin runs half of the Civil Litigation Department.  He predominantly handles large personal injury cases, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and workers compensation claims.  In addition, he has experience handling criminal cases ranging from traffic citations to murder, representing both the State and the Defendant.  Mr. Komin has extensive jury trial experience and has lectured to other lawyers through his involvement with the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Komin earned both his MBA and law degree from the University of Baltimore.  Mr. Komin first started in the litigation department for the Law Offices of P. Paul Cocoros in 1992.  He is a lifelong resident of Ellicott City with his wife, Alyssa, and three children, Taylor, Jordan and Jackson.

 

Perry W. Lericos runs the other half of the Civil Litigation Department.  He handles serious personal injury cases, medical malpractice, business, real estate and commercial disputes.  Mr. Lericos earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1981, and is a former Assistant State's Attorney, with extensive trial experience in criminal and civil matters.  Mr. Lericos started with the Law Offices of P. Paul Cocoros in 1992.  He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker.  Perry and his wife, Irene, reside in Baltimore County and have two sons, Bill and Andrew.

 

 

John J. Hammann runs the Criminal and Bankruptcy Department. He predominantly handles criminal cases, traffic citations and Chapter 7 Bankruptcies.  Mr. Hammann started with the Law Offices of P. Paul Cocoros in 1989.  He has extensive experience in the Circuit Court, District Court, Office of Administrative Hearings and Federal Bankruptcy Court.  Mr. Hammann is a graduate of the Loyola College of Maryland and earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore.  He currently resides with his wife, Danielle, in Ellicott City and their daughter Lindsey.

 

 

Arthur "Archie" Cocoros is involved in a large number of personal injury cases.  He helps to ensure the office understands the medical aspect of each case.  In addition, he also facilitates the prompt handling of the property damage portion of the  client's claim.  He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.  He and his wife, Cleo, reside in Baltimore County.
